As you all know, going green has become the new fad and way of living for most of our A-lister celebs and environmentally friendly people. Whether it’s carpooling, recylcing, or simply taking up a more eco-friendly lifestlye, more and more people are converting to the green team. From the Global Green’s pre-Oscar party to following green links on the net, celebrities such as Adrian Grenier, Salma Hayek and Bill Maher are just several of the stars who have made appearances.

According to New York magazine, Leonardo DiCaprio has taken his green-ness to the next level, buying an eco-friendly condo in NYC. Luxury, of course. His condo was built with solar-powered energy and non-pollutant materials,  high-rise with a green roof and a “gray and black water treatment facility”. His rep told New York magazine: “Riverhouse is a prime example of how green technology is both accessible and achievable for new residential developments — it is a groundbreaking building.”

Matt Damon revealed that he was on the list for an upcoming Tesla Roadster. ”Next year I’m getting a Tesla Roadster, which I’m very, very excited about,” he said “It’s an electric car, gets about 250 miles to the charge and is fast as hell! I can’t wait to get it. Driving a green car is one of the ways we can all do a little more, so I’m trying to do that.”

Brad Pitt is turning his energies to molding his architectural passions (the actor is said to be a major fan of Frank Lloyd Wright) — especially in light of his successful involvement with the Make It Right NOLA project to rebuild the 9th Ward. It was announced today that the 44-year-old star has been named to a team of design consultants for a brand-new environmentally friendly green hotel and resort in Dubai. Development firm developing firm, Zabeel Properties has brought on the Los Angeles-based architecture firm GRAFT to help bring the project to life. Pitt will work with GRAFT to make a sustainable and energy-efficient structure. “Selecting this development as my first major construction project has been a simple decision,” Pitt added. “It will underpin not only my values for environmentally-friendly architecture, but also embrace my career in entertainment.

So if you want to be cool…. go green people.

 If you missed the late night show last night with Jay Leno, you missed one heck of a performance by no other than the infamous P.O.D. (Payable on Death). With a 15 year career, over 8 million albums sold, a series of top charting radio hits, sold out concert tours worldwide and four #1 MTV videos, this talented group of guys has a very powerful musical vision that offers something different, but yet special to the music industry. Their devoted and supportive fanbase, otherwise known as the “warriors” continue to grow daily.  With the talent that this group possess, it seems as if they were born to make music.  Having the opportunity to spend quality time with them before and after their performance, I have to say they were all very pleasant and bit humurous to say the least. I had to see what these guys were all about, given I have been listening to their music for a number of years now…….. and come on……. I admit…… I LOVE TO REPORT THE SCOOP. Yes…. time and time I may hand over the celebrity sleaze on a silver plate, but I have to say…… I LOVE THESE GUYS. Besides….. I have to give credit to those I admire, and tonight is one of them. Good job guys, great performance and for the record…… sorry if I drank the rest of the coffee backstage.  If you all have not picked up your own copy of P.O.D.’s new album….. I am commanding you to do it now, before I make you.
